Inspired by the Epiphany story of the three magi who found the Christ-child by following the light of a star in the East. This epic Christmas song echoes the journey of ALL of who who seek and find Christ. Our response, in the end is the same: “Come, let us adore him”.
LYRICS
Those who walk in darkness,
yearn for Heaven’s light
Long to see the one who is to comeThe prophet’s word was spoken,
a saviour’s birth foretold
Generations waiting for a sign
Waiting, searching, hoping, praying…
We have seen the light, and now we come before him
‘Cos the word is made flesh and we behold his gloryWe have seen the Child and now we come before him
‘Cos the word is made flesh and we behold his gloryWe have seen the light
we have heard the ancient promise
of a chosen one
A Messiah and a King
We have read the signs
see the star of Jacob rising
and we behold, we behold
and we believeAnd we bring him gifts, lay our lives before him
That is all we have, come let us adore him.See the infant King, come and kneel before him
‘Cos the word is made flesh, Come let us adore him
