After The Exaltation of the Cross come the final weeks of ordinary time, which end on the 34th Sunday when we celebrate the feast of Christ the King. In the third and final part of Year C (weeks 25 – 34), we continue in Luke’s Gospel from the parable of the unjust steward {Luke 16:1-13} to the final moments of Jesus on the cross {Luke 23:35-43}.
The responsorial psalms deepen our understanding of the Word as we continue in the cycle of the Lectionary.
