In 2006 we packed Westminster Cathedral with the landmark 10th Anniversary performance of Born for This. What a night that was. We can still remember the sight of people queuing all around the Cathedral Piazza waiting to get in.
You don’t need to be a maths genius to work out that in 2016 we now mark our twentieth anniversary. How did we get to be so old!? And where on earth did that last decade go?
After a five year hiatus, we’ve regrouped our collective of musicians and many of our original cast for a special, one-off 20th anniversary presentation.
It’s so humbling to think that this great telling of the Passion has had such longevity and continues to move and inspire people across the UK and beyond.
We know there are many other Born for this presentations taking place in schools and parishes throughout lent – especially in this extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy.
If you can get to Birmingham this coming Palm Sunday, we hope you’ll be able to join us at St Chad’s Cathedral as we share the greatest true story ever told… just one more time.
