Hi CJM,
Do you have a psalm for the Baptism of the Lord. It is psalm 28 The Refrain is The Lord will bless his people with peace. Hope you can help because your psalms are so good. Thank you

Hi Peter, we are back on track with the Psalms after the hiatus over Christmastide. So sorry about that. Glad you are finding this resource https://www.cjmmusic.com/psalms/baptism-of-the-lord-year-a/
Sadly, I think the response here does not lend itself to contemplation due to the speed and popular music style melody which goes against the GIRM’s noted intention for the psalms.
Thank you for taking the time to engage, here, David. The style and tempo of this particular setting may not work for you or your context, but fortunately, there are many alternative setting available. Those who minister in a context that tends to use more contemporary music in their repertoire, appreciate these contemporary settings being available. And we are happy to provide them. I don’t think GIRM gives specific guidance on musical style when it comes to the psalms… When the Lord comes in his glory, I wonder if any of us will be asking Him to slow down?
