The Baptism of the Lord occurs on the Sunday between 8 January-13 January. When the Epiphany of the Lord is celebrated on Sunday 7 or 8 January the Baptism of the Lord is celebrated on the following Monday (8 or 9 January).

Sorry, David. We didn’t manage to set the verses on this occasion – might do in future. Having said that, sometimes proclaiming the Psalm text like this over instrumental music is beautifully moving and prayerful.
No need to apologise! It was such a nice response that I would have liked to use it but, as there was no music to the verses, I ended up writing my own. I know what you’re saying about proclaiming the text over the instrumental music but my own personal opinion is that the psalm text should be sung – but that’s just my own opinion! Please do keep up the great work though!
I liked the idea that the cantor can recite
The prayer ,this enables the additional layer to the psalm and more drama can be achieved .👍🙏

Sabrina, unfortunately we haven’t a current Grail setting for this particular psalm. And we are working no to update all our settings for the new Abbey Psalms & Canticles translation of the psalms which we are now using in the liturgy in England, Scotland and Wales. So there’ll be some gaps in the Grail settings that may never be filled…
