After Eastertide and the great mid-year Solemnities of Pentecost, Trinity Sunday and Corpus Christi, we have some 20 weeks or so of Ordinary Time. In this second part of Year B (weeks 25 – 34), we resume our journey through Mark’s Gospel from Jesus foretelling His death and resurrection {Mark 9:30-37} to the Coming of the Son of Man {Mark 13:24-32} and finally ending with the declaration that Christ is King over all {John 18:33-37}.
The responsorial psalms continue to give melody to our meditations on the Word as we move through the cycle of the Lectionary.
