Songs of Consolation ‘Live’ Video Series

We are living through the strangest of times.

Terms like social distancingself-isolation and lock-down have become common parlance, and the word ‘unprecedented‘ is being used with unprecedented frequency. As we strive to protect each other from the spread of the Coronavirus.

Our church buildings may be closed, but we are finding new and creative ways to be spiritually close while physically distant.

Our contribution to this new digital life of faith is a Facebook Live video reflectioneach weekday evening at about 7:15 pm, with Jo Boyce, sharing a few words of hope and a song of consolation.

The feedback from those who have been following regularly suggests that this is becoming a much-appreciated way to spend 10 minutes at the end of a socially-distanced day.

If you’re a Facebook user, I hope you’ll join Jo on her page at facebook.com/joboycemusic.

If you’re not on Facebook then you can still watch each episode afterwards, as we are putting it all together into an easy-to-access video library for you.

We’ve also created a handy, downloadable PDF devotional for each episode in case you want to share the reflections and song ideas some other way at home, school or parish.

The PDF download link can be found under each corresponding episode in the video library at cjmmusic.com/devotionals
