It’s the time of year for spring-cleaning, and it seems reasonable for that to extend to life in the digital realm too. So over the past few weeks our website has been undergoing a bit of a makeover.
It’s still very much a work-in-progress. The ultimate aim is to create a website that will be a useful resource for you in the ministry of bringing liturgy to life. We’re working on 3 main areas:

Faster and more reliable
No one likes staring at the screen (buffer face!) waiting for webpages to load. As the traffic to our website continues to increase, it was starting to creak at the seams a little. So we’ve moved to a new hosting platform that will hopefully make the whole thing more robust and reliable.

FREE Liturgy resource library
The ever-growing number of free sheet music downloads, tutorials, videos and liturgy tips was getting a bit tricky to navigate. It was difficult to find what you were looking for if it wasn’t one of the most recent posts. We’re organising it all into a new, easy to browse Liturgy Resource Library. This library will continue development and expand over the next few months – so be sure to check back regularly.

Better online shop integration
We’re trying to make it as easy as possible for you to order the CD’s, music books, event tickets or sheet music when you want to. Now you can add items to your shopping cart from almost any page, without interrupting your browsing. The site is also now hosted on a secure server, so you can re-order quickly and easily if you choose to create a customer account with securely stored payment information.
There are lots of other improvements, like the more user-friendly upcoming events & ministry diary, the almost complete cycle of Responsorial Psalms for Sundays and Feast Days… And there’s much more in the pipeline.
The feedback so far has been really positive – giving us just the encouragement we need to soldier on.
