Responsorial Psalms for Eastertide, Year C

After the austerity of Lent, the 50 days of Eastertide from Easter Sunday to the feast of Pentecost are to be celebrated as “one great Sunday“.  It is a time of great rejoicing, as we remember our experiences with the Risen Christ.

As this is one of our most joyous seasons, singing – rather than reciting – the psalms is especially delightful.

*In England and Wales, from 2007 to 2017 the Ascension of the Lord was transferred to the Seventh Sunday of Easter. In 2018, we reverted to the Thursday following the Sixth Sunday of Easter.
