Come and join the chorus…
The Celebrate Chorus is the ultimate scratch chorus for young adults (aged 16 – 35) who love to sing and want to get involved in live perfomances & recordings, as well has have opportunities to grow and share their faith with others.
How does it work?
We let you know (usually by email) when there are events coming up, and when and where the rehearsals are… You let us know – in advance – whether or not you can make it Hopefully the answer will be “yes” and then you just turn up on the day. Easy!
How do I get to shows & rehearsals?
Having your own transport helps, but members of the chorus generally help each other out by sharing lifts or organising sleep-overs. For big shows or tours that are a long way away (e.g. a presentation of Born for This in Plymouth!) we try to organise mini-buses to transport members to and from our base in Coleshill.
What does it cost?
There are no subs or membership fees. You only pay for your own transportation and food (you’ll generally need to bring a packed lunch or supper to most events)
What else do we do?
Once or twice a year we try to organise a residential retreat-come-rehearsal weekend so that members can meet, sing, learn new songs, play and pray together without worrying about what time we’re going on stage.
How do I join?
If you want to join the chorus you need to fill in a simpleapplication form which you will need to return to us wih a passport photo and a reference (and parental consent, if you are under 18).
