One of the founding directors of cjm, Jo’s background as a biochemist makes her the analytical mind of the team (some would say mad scientist!) As well as all her musical cjm responsibilities, Jo plans and coordinates much of the face-to-face work delivered by the team and works undercover as the cjm webmaster.
One of the founding directors of cjm, Mike’s Business Studies degree means when he’s not heading up our ministry team alongside Jo Boyce, he gets to look after things relating to, marketing, accounts and contracts, and administering royalties and copyright permissions.
Our secretary since the early days of cjm – Julie helps us all stay sane. She looks after most of our correspondence and admin. Julie also guards the cjm diary – she’s the one to speak to if you want to make a booking.
Tony is Mike’s Dad and since retiring from his job as Managing Director of a fine arts company he has been on hand to give us much needed administrative support. He looks after our stock-keeping and mail order service.
THE BAND & MINISTRY TEAM
Emily is a gifted all-round musician and an experienced youth worker. She’s been playing drums with us since she was fourteen. When she’s not on stage with the band, she works as a lay chaplain and youth worker in several schools in south Staffordshire.
Andrew is a graduate of Manchester’s Royal Northern School of Music. He first came into contact with the work of cjm|music while he was a sixth former at Bishop Walsh Catholic High School in Sutton Coldfield. Now a music teacher, Andy’s considerable talent as a classically trained musician is a real asset to the team.
Having been involved in some of the very earliest Soli House recordings, Andrew’s involvement in our work pre-dates the official existence of CJM. In 2011 Andrew left a 25 year teaching career to be make more time available to serve in music ministry.
After graduating in July 2000 with a degree in music technology from Staffordshire University, Aidan began working at cjm part time. In September ’02 he joined the team full time, and left in 2007 to pursue a career in teaching.
Mike lives in South London with his wife, Teresa. When he’s not on the road with the band he’s the Marketing Director of a major UK insurance company and does lots of high-powered, corporate stuff.
Anne worked with us full-time for 6 years, looking after all the planning and admin involved in concerts, tours and INSET training days. Anne moved on to pastures new in May 2012.
